Not bloody swine flu again!

Did you get Bird Flu? No. Did you get SARS? No. Will you get Swine Flu? I doubt it. But just to be safe, watch this bit of advice from 1976 when there was another swine flu ‘outbreak’. Oh and if you do feel a bit of swine flu coming on, just rub some oinkment on it…you’ll be fine :)

On a side issue, get a load of Joe the Stud who gave it to his wife Betty, and then Betty’s mother. Then Betty’s mother gives it to the cab driver and a guy at the airport…ooh the dirty little swines!

It’s not all work, work, work!

Woooooooow…This is my favourite advert of all time for these reasons:

1. The music. ‘Crockett’s Theme’ by Jan Hammer…in a bank advert…in 1991!

2. The location. Who knew it was shot in Liverpool? It looks great.

3. The clothes. Her stripy top at the start and his mahoosive suit from Burtons.

4. When he leaves work, but waits at the door like he’s been released from prison.

5. The script. ‘Bit like a photocopier, ‘cept the paper’s more expensive’. And of course the immortal line ‘Course we do…it’s not all work, work, work’. But what do you think the question was?…Have you shagged any birds from the bank?

Glen-Gurn

A beautiful song by the incredible Glen Campbell. That’s a given. But WHAT ON EARTH is going on with his jaw? Is he on pills? The Wichita Lineman is literally chewing his face off.  Pause this video at any point to catch a full on Glen-Gurn. Extra special glimpses of wonder-jaw are around 0.30, 1.00…the majestic ten seconds that is 1.50 – 2.00, and finally at the very end of the song when you think he’s actually going to turn into a giant Pez dispenser. Amazing.
